Project Summary

The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) uses cutting-edge engineering technology to support biological, chemical, and physical science research in deep-water ocean environments. Building G is a new 30,000 square-foot research and development facility that will help support the needs of their scientific and engineering research. The building was planned to accommodate sea level rise from the ocean side and FEMA flood zones on the landward side.

Commissioning systems include: HVAC equipment, Building Control System, Lighting System, Domestic Hot Water System, Power Outage Test, Air Compressor, Irrigation System, and Electrical Sub-Metering.
