Confidential Product Performance Energy Modeling

Red Car Analytics provided detailed energy modeling for a building technology product to quantify the annual energy saving potential of the technology for a new construction corporate campus project. The energy modeled provided an objective assessment of the technology compared with energy codes including ASHRAE 90.1 for operational energy cost and HVAC equipment cost based on differences in peak capacity. The energy analysis consisted of:

• Development of baselines for comparison to local state codes and to national code standards
• EnergyPlus Advanced Scripting with EMIS to controls
• Energy cost analysis and HVAC peak thermal load analysis
