Lawrence Berkeley National Lab Integrative Genomics Building
Project Summary
The project consists of a four-story genomics laboratory building with office space. The building utilizes a decoupled ventilation and space conditioning system: DOAS and chilled beams and in-slab radiant, as well as LED lighting with daylighting controls. The central plant consists of electric heat pumps and chillers.
Red Car Analytics -will provide LEED fundamental and enhanced commissioning and Title 24 commissioning. The systems commissioned will include: HVAC, interior lighting and controls, building automation system, water and BTU meters, domestic and laboratory water, laboratory ventilation and exhaust, laboratory process, and solar PV.
Michele Sagehorn began commissioning work for this project while at Guttmann and Blaevoet and is completing the work with Red Car Analytics as a subcontractor.
